GENERAL CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION

1) Rental

Bookings are made through theamalficoastheartist.com as owners, based on the prices indicated on the website. These prices reflect market conditions applicable at the time of booking. Theamalficoastheartist.com reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of significant fluctuations in exchange rates (the rate will not change for confirmed bookings).

2) How to Book

Customers can make reservations through the website using Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

3) Payments

To complete a booking, customers must pay a deposit on the total price as indicated in the accommodation form. The reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and/or full amount. A confirmation email will be sent once the final balance is received, which must be paid by the date specified during the booking process. For bookings made after the balance payment date, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

4) Minimum Stay

The minimum stay varies depending on the period and the selected villa. In special cases, theamalficoastheartist.com reserves the right to negotiate a different minimum stay with the customer.

5) Arrival and Departure

  • Arrivals:
    • For the "villa and/or apartment" formula: Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00.
    • For the "room" formula: Check-in is from 13:00 to 20:00.
      Late arrivals can be arranged for a fee with prior communication.
  • Departures:
    • Check-out for the villa, apartment, and/or room is by 10:00 AM.
      Any changes to the arrival or departure dates must be communicated and approved by theamalficoastheartist.com at least 15 days in advance. In case of unavoidable delays on the day of arrival, the customer must contact the person indicated in the final confirmation email. If the manager cannot be reached, or the customer fails to arrive within the agreed time without prior notice, theamalficoastheartist.com is not responsible.

6) Documents

Upon arrival, the customer must present a copy of the final confirmation email and a valid ID/Passport for registration.

7) Refundable Deposit

A refundable deposit is required as prescribed in the reservation details. The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, minus any deductions for damages.

8) Number of Persons / Replacements

The number of people (adults and children) must not exceed the number of beds indicated in the property description, except for infants under two years old. Guests can bring a cot and necessary bedding or request one in advance. Any substitutions during the stay are prohibited without prior approval.
The customer must inform the property of the final number of people staying in the villa at least 1 week before check-in.

9) Cleaning and Maintenance

The property will be delivered clean, sanitized, and in good condition. Regular certified sanitation is performed periodically. The customer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, home, and garbage removal during the stay. If these obligations are not met, the operator may charge an additional fee. The cost of final cleaning, linen, and other consumption fees, to be paid locally, are outlined in the property description.

10) External Maintenance

The operator reserves the right to access the property for maintenance purposes (e.g., garden, swimming pool, etc.).

11) Penalties for Cancellations

The cancellation policy varies depending on the period and villa selected. The cancellation fee will be displayed during the booking process.

11.1) Penalties for Cancellation Due to COVID-19

If travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 emergency affect the stay and the booking is outside the cancellation terms, theamalficoastheartist.com will issue a voucher valid for 3 years from the expected check-in date.

12) Responsibility

Theamalficoastheartist.com guarantees the quality and condition of each property. The descriptions on the website are accurate and prepared in good faith. In case of any problems, the customer must notify theamalficoastheartist.com immediately on the day of arrival. Complaints must be made in writing within 24 hours of arrival.
The customer is obliged to allow theamalficoastheartist.com time to resolve the issue. Any customer who leaves the accommodation early without permission and without prior written notice will forfeit any right to a refund. Complaints made after departure will not be considered, and no compensation will be provided.
If theamalficoastheartist.com is unable to provide the booked accommodation due to reasons beyond its control (e.g., force majeure), it reserves the right to offer a similar property, subject to the customer's consent. Any price difference will be refunded. If no agreement is reached, both parties may cancel the contract, and theamalficoastheartist.com will refund only the amount paid without penalty.

13) Property

The properties offered by theamalficoastheartist.com are private homes, not tourist facilities such as hotels or residences. These homes reflect local traditions and the personal taste of the owner or operator. While theamalficoastheartist.com guarantees the quality of the properties, there may be differences that are a part of the unique experience offered.

14) Jurisdiction

In case of disputes regarding booking and rental, the jurisdiction will be the Court of Salerno. Making a booking implies acceptance of these general conditions without reservation. The invalidity of any provision does not affect the validity of the entire contract.

15) Other Information

The occupancy tax and any other extra costs, as shown in the property description, are to be paid directly upon arrival.
